Spice, Ltd., the Indian telecommunications company, touts the phone as the greatest innovation in cellphone technology today — a phone priced at under $20.

Spice is described as a fusion of Telekom Malaysia‘s operational experience and Spice Telecom’s management expertise. The company has big, big plans.

Spice Mobile’s president, Paul Shoker, notes, "We are targeting an area from Iraq to Indonesia, and that area has a population of 2.5 billion."
