Happy Holidays from Eidson & Partners!

It's time! The millions of bright, flashy lights and the crazed shoppers dashing through store aisles only mean one thing: It’s the holiday season. And as the year draws to an end, we here at Eidson & Partners want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have made our year (and this blog) a big success.

As the year winds down, it’s easy to get lost in all the haste and hustle the holiday season brings. However, I really strive to take the opportunity to step back, examine where we've come over the last 12 months and, along the way, remember those who have helped us grow into what we are today.

First: A Thank-You

We want to begin with you all! Our blog has grown; our business has expanded. And, as a result, our ideas have matured and, sometimes, even become a little far-fetched. Yet, you readers have remained loyal and taken a few leaps of faith with us. For that we thank you, and we can’t wait to continue to share with you the insights, experiences and research we're working on.

Second: A Blog Rewind

This year has been a lot of fun for us writing-wise. From scissors to sci-fi, from big data breakthroughs to marketing basics, we've used the blog over the last 12 months to explore a huge variety of topics. While we've certainly done plenty of shifting gears on our topics, I hope you'll see we've stayed true to our values: Market research and knowing your customers well pays off in a big way for all businesses.

If you've been with us since January, we've examined Where Innovation Comes From and questioned How Google Works? We examined the basics of brand ambassadorship and marketing as well, all while attempting to keep innovation, improvement and customer research at the heart of our exploration. We promise to keep providing you with new and innovative strategies to improve your business, and to keep sharing our own unique perspective.

Third: Another Sparkling Campaign

In 2011, our team began researching and studying business accelerators. With a team of brilliant, hard-working partners, we launched SparkLabKC with an initial class of 10 companies in 2013. I'm happy to report that since then we've helped fund and develop another 20 companies, many of which continue to be successful. This year, we welcomed 10 new companies with some excellent ideas and disruptive innovations affecting a variety of industries, from department stores to sporting events to psychotherapy. We're proud of our 2015 class and super excited for the next classes to come—hopefully for another decade.

As we reflect in the coming weeks on where we've been and how far we've come, we just want to say thank you! Without all of you, none of this would be possible! Take some time to reflect during this holiday season and give thanks to those who have been meaningful in your life. You've helped make a difference in ours!

Do you have a favorite blog package or maybe just a favorite experience with us in 2015? We'd love to here about it. Tweet us @EidsonPartners!
